This site is a tribute to Hazel Ann LILLEY. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

My wonderful wife of almost 28 years tragically died in a car accident near our home on 3rd November 2009. Andrew, Rachael and I are honoured to have shared our lives with such a special person who touched the hearts of so many many people.

This is my personal tribute to the woman I loved so dearly and that I will always know as My Miss World:

IF YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL BEYOND THE WILDEST OF DREAMS,
IF YOU CAN LOVE YOUR HUSBAND WITH PASSION AND CREATE A MARRIAGE FROM HEAVEN,
IF YOU ARE BLESSED WITH ELEGANCE AND GRACE,
IF YOU CAN BUILD A LOVING HOME FROM BRICKS AND MORTAR,
IF YOU CAN BRING THE WORLD A SON LIKE ANDREW AND CHERISH HIM FOR EVERY FLEETING MOMENT,
IF CHRISTMAS TO YOU IS ALL OF DECEMBER,
IF YOU CAN TRULY SHARE YOUR LIFE AND ALL THAT YOU OWN,
IF YOU CAN TREAT EVERYONE WITH LOVE AND TENDERNESS EVEN IF THEY DON'T DESERVE IT,
IF YOU CAN LOVE THE WORLD AROUND YOU, BLUEBELLS, CHRISTMAS TREES AND ALL,
IF YOU CAN KEEP CALM, WHEN ALL AROUND YOU ARE NOT,
IF YOU CAN MEET WITH TRIUMPH AND DISASTER AND TREAT THESE TWO IMPOSTERS JUST THE SAME,
THEN YOURS IS THE WORLD AND EVERYTHING THAT'S IN IT
AND WHAT IS MORE THAN THIS,
YOU WILL BE LIKE HAZEL,
WHO WILL LIVE IN MY MEMORY FOR EVER. 

I hope that you may find something in these words that is your memory of Hazel.
